ProductTank Malmö is a monthly meetup series, that aims to inspire and share product experiences related to product management, business strategy, market research, analytics, planning processes, and more. If you have challenges you need help solving, this event is for you.
Each meetup has a special topic. Todays topic is Legacy & debt. We will kick off with a few lightning talks to get discussions going:
"The decisions that reduced debt, and those I wish we'd made differently" - Martin Müntzing
Technical debt is not only an engineering problem, it turns out. Decisions made throughout your organization greatly affects the product team’s ability to deliver at speed and with impact. Based on product management experiences at Podio, I'll share the crucial decision moments that either created or addressed the problem of technical debt.
"Dealing with technical debt as a communications problem and embracing it to grow" - Emil Eriksson
Improving an organisations internal communication can minimise technical debt. However technical debt is in many cases unavoidable. But fear not, embracing it may actually lead to growth. I’ll be sharing some insights from my experience in dealing with the above issues.
Presentations and group discussions are likely to be in English (unless everyone knows Swedish).
Drinks and a lighter snack will be served during the event.
